Among lagoons, marshes, streams and rivers live more than 125 species of fish… Among them are the spotted and striped surubí, the river salmon, the tararira and, the most sought after… the Dorado, also known as the “River Tiger”.

The beauty of the Dorado stands out in the crystal clear waters of the marshes with its shimmering yellow, orange and crimson colors, which with the reflection of the sun make it look golden and its normal weight ranges from 4 to 8 kg, reaching 20 kg, attracting fishing lovers to visit and be part of this spectacular attraction offered by the Esteros del Iberá.

The modalities applied in fishing in the Iberá marshes are varied, although the technique par excellence is fly fishing with compulsory return. For the practice of this sport, we use dams, boats, mini fishing boats, always going to the edges and approaching the reeds.

What makes the fishing experience in the Esteros del Iberá fascinating is the possibility of enjoying a protected natural environment, with an enormous wealth of fauna and flora.
